Getting to Beaver Island

After arriving in Charlevoix, enjoy a pleasant trip across Lake Michigan either on the ferry or by the regularly scheduled air service to the Island.

From the Ferry Dock: Turn left on Main Street and proceed east. Turn right at the hardware store and continue on that road for approximately .10 miles. Turn right at Beaver Lodge Drive (second road on the right). You will pass the St. James Township Tennis Courts on the left-hand side of the road. The Beaver Island lodge and Nina’s Restaurant are located at the end of Beaver Lodge Drive.

From Welke Airport/Island Airways: Turn left as you exit the airport and follow the gravel road to Kings Highway (first stop sign). Turn right at Kings Highway and follow the road until you reach a three way stop. Turn left at the stop (Donnegal Bay Road). Follow Donnegal Bay Road to Beaver Lodge Drive and turn right. The Beaver Island Lodge and Nina’s Restaurant are located at the end of Beaver Lodge Drive

From Beaver Island Township Airport/Fresh Air Aviation: Exit the airport (Airport Road) and turn left (Donnel Mors Lane) follow the road until you reach a stop sign. Turn right (Sloptown Road) and follow the road to Kings Highway. Turn left at Kings Highway and follow the road until you get to a three way stop. Turn left (Donnegal Bay Road) and follow road to Beaver Lodge Drive. Turn right at Beaver Lodge Drive. Beaver Island Lodge and Nina’s Restaurant are located at the end of Beaver Lodge Drive.
